Preamble


The Board of Ambassadors of GCPTALKS, Inc. is hereby established as a body of official representatives, entrusted with advancing the Founder and President’s mission, safeguarding the organization’s development, and serving as the nonprofit’s eyes, ears, advocates, thinkers, doers, and partners. This article defines their authority, responsibilities, and lifetime mandate within the governance structure of GCPTALKS, Inc.


Section 1. Identity and Purpose of the Board of Ambassadors

The Board of Ambassadors shall serve as the following:

  • Official representatives of GCPTALKS, Inc.

  • Executive partners to the Founder and President

  • Advocates and protectors of the mission

  • Strategic thinkers and doers

  • The nonprofit council that ensures the Founder and President’s initiatives are carried out

  • Lifetime officers, with the right to retire at their discretion

These officers embody the roots and original structure of GCPTALKS, Inc., having been established to amplify the founder and president's vision and support the development of the organization.


Section 2. Executive Alignment and Representation

Three officers of the Board of Ambassadors must

  • Align fully with the Founder and President’s vision

  • Represent the Founder and President in all official capacities

  • Serve as executive officers within the Cabinet

  • Carry out development, operational, and strategic responsibilities

Their mandate is to ensure that the Founder and President’s mission is protected, advanced, and fulfilled.


Section 3. Duties and Oversight Responsibilities

The Board of Ambassadors shall:

  • Assist in carrying the weight of organizational development

  • Support the processing and structuring of operational systems

  • Hold conferences with staff, donors, and partners regarding development initiatives

  • Work with department leaders on programs and projects

  • Oversee the Outreach Director’s role and performance

  • Provide continuous updates to the Founder and President

  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors on mission‑critical matters

The Board of Ambassadors carries far-reaching oversight, entrusted with ensuring that GCPTALKS remains mission-driven, accountable, and community-focused.


Section 4. Relationship to the Board of Directors

The Board of Ambassadors:

  • Helps shape the Board of Directors’ mandate

  • Provides foundational insight into the organization’s roots and mission

  • Supports the Board of Directors by consolidating tasks and developing solutions

  • Ensures that sensitive awareness issues are properly addressed

The Board of Ambassadors is the embodiment of GCPTALKS’ founding structure, and its work directly informs the governance of the Board of Directors.


Section 5. Mission Assignments and Program Oversight

The Executive Office Ambassadors shall direct the Board of Ambassadors to work on the following core missions:

  1. Childhood and Adult Cancer Support

  2. Homelessness Relief and Prevention

  3. Students’ Back‑to‑School Gear Packages

  4. Cancer and Disease Research Support

  5. Low‑Income Family Assistance

  6. Youth Program Workshops and Youth Sports for a Cause

  7. GCPTALKS.org Building Project — A Historical Nonprofit Legacy Center

These missions represent the heart of GCPTALKS’ charitable agenda, and the Board of Ambassadors shall work on them daily, reporting results to the Founder and President and the Board of Directors.


Section 6. Fundraising Mandate

Fundraising is the backbone of GCPTALKS, Inc. The Board of Ambassadors shall:

  • Lead fundraising initiatives

  • Engage donors, partners, and supporters

  • Promote the mission across all states and globally

  • Ensure operational funds are secured for programs and projects

  • Support education, GED testing, student meals, uniforms, shelter, and mentorship programs

The Board of Ambassadors is responsible for ensuring that GCPTALKS has the financial strength to fulfill its mission.


Section 7. National and Global Program Reach

GCPTALKS programs extend

  • Across all 50 states

  • Into global communities

  • Into underserved populations

  • Into schools, shelters, hospitals, and youth programs

The Board of Ambassadors shall ensure that GCPTALKS’ reach remains far‑reaching, inclusive, and impactful.


Section 8. Governance Assignments and Organizational Development

The Board of Ambassadors acknowledges:

  • A serious governance assignment lies ahead

  • More policies and structural development are forthcoming

  • All staff must work diligently to achieve the Founder and President’s vision

  • The Executive Office Manager shall begin implementing office development strategies

The Board of Ambassadors shall support these governance efforts and ensure organizational readiness.


Section 9. Call to Donors, Volunteers, and Staff

GCPTALKS encourages:

  • Donors to support the mission

  • Volunteers to join the work

  • Staff to collaborate with ambassadors

  • Communities to engage with GCPTALKS programs

The Board of Ambassadors recognizes that nonprofit success requires collective effort, and every ambassador, officer, and staff member must work hard to accomplish the dream.


Section 10. Closing Statement

The Board of Ambassadors stands as a pillar of governance, a guardian of mission integrity, and a partner to the Founder and President. Their lifetime service ensures that GCPTALKS remains strong, visionary, and committed to the people it serves.
