Preamble

The Office of the Senior Vice President (SVP) of GCPTALKS, Inc. is established as a principal executive office within the organizational hierarchy. This office carries a fiduciary obligation to uphold the mission, integrity, and operational excellence of GCPTALKS, Inc., acting with full authority under the governance framework set forth by the Founder & President.


1. Fiduciary Duty and Executive Authority

As Senior Vice President, I am entrusted with the fiduciary responsibility to operate the entire machinery of the organization, ensuring continuity, stability, and efficiency across all departments and initiatives.

My authority includes:

  • Full operational oversight, whether the Executive Vice President is present or absent

  • Full operational oversight whether the Founder & President are on‑site or off‑site

  • Authority to execute duties, directives, and organizational functions under my Senior Officer Mandate

  • Responsibility to uphold donor trust, organizational ethics, and mission integrity

This office functions with continuous executive authority, ensuring that GCPTALKS remains active, responsive, and mission‑driven at all times.


2. Oversight of Executive Offices and Departments

The Senior Vice President shall:

  • Review the work of the Chamber

  • Oversee the Executive Assistant

  • Supervise the Operational Director

  • Collaborate with all Vice Presidents

  • Ensure that all officers and departments meet their charitable, administrative, and operational goals

This office works in partnership with executive leadership to maintain a unified, efficient, and accountable organizational structure.


3. Staff Engagement and Organizational Culture

I look forward to meeting and greeting all staff, program leaders, and project teams. Together, we will:

  • Develop initiatives

  • Strengthen departmental performance

  • Build a healthy, professional, and mission‑focused working environment

  • Ensure that all staff understand their roles, responsibilities, and the importance of their contributions

The Senior Vice President’s office is committed to fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and excellence.


4. Inter‑Office Communication and Coordination

This office shall maintain open communication with:

  • The Special Vice President of the Chamber, when information or coordination is required

  • The Communications Vice President, to ensure clarity, transparency, and alignment in all organizational messaging

The senior vice president serves as a central hub for executive coordination, ensuring that all branches of leadership operate in harmony.


5. Fiduciary Portfolio and Standard Policy Compliance

The duties of the senior vice president are formally documented within the Fiduciary Portfolio Folder, which outlines the following:

  • Standard policy requirements

  • Ethical and operational expectations

  • Compliance obligations

  • Executive procedures and reporting structures

This portfolio serves as the official reference for the execution of my duties and the maintenance of organizational integrity.
