BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND EXECUTIVE OFFICE AMBASSADOR DUTIES
Motivate Your Community Program
A GCPTALKS & Garth Charity Projects Board Leadership Initiative
Signed by Founder and President, Garth B. Thompson
Program Overview
Motivate Your Community is a leadership and engagement program established by the founder and president of GCPTALKS, Inc., to ensure that the Board of Directors maintains the spirit, discipline, and ambassadorial standard they received during their initial training.
The program reinforces the board's commitment to community service, organizational representation, and public engagement while preserving the integrity of their official board responsibilities.
Purpose of the Board of Directors’ Seal
Each board member receives a Board of Directors’ seal, a physical emblem awarded after completing a six-week training program. This seal represents the following:
Successful completion of board training
Understanding of GCPTALKS and Garth Charity Projects' operational procedures
Commitment to the ambassadorial standard of giving
Readiness to represent the organization in community settings
Although the board's primary duty is governance, the seal allows them to participate in ambassador‑style outreach on designated days, ensuring their training remains active and meaningful.
Activation of the Seal
To prevent the seal from becoming symbolic only, the founder and president authorize the board to activate their seal:
One day per week, or
One day per month, and
During the annual activation period: October 1 – December 15
Seal activation must be approved by:
The Founder and President, and
The Executive Office Ambassador
During activation, board members may perform ambassador‑level outreach while still upholding their primary governance duties.
Training and Preparation
Before the appointment, all board members complete the following:
A two‑week lecture series led by the Founder and President
Full training administered by the Ambassador General Secretary
Instruction in ambassadorial communication (“Ambassadors’ Dome”)
Operational training for both GCPTALKS.org and GarthCharityProjects.org
Upon completion, each board member receives their permanent board of directors' seal.
Board Chamber Assistants
To support the Board’s responsibilities, each full‑time Board Member is assigned:
Three Board Chamber Assistants
Total assistants appointed: Nine (9)
These assistants help with scheduling, outreach preparation, documentation, and community engagement logistics.
