Garth Byron Thompson, a son of Jamaica, was born in Shaw Castle and raised in Woodland Gardens. The district is called Maroon Town, St. James.

Garth Byron Thompson, founder and president and an entrepreneur, as well as a philanthropist and a dreamer of doing good for humanity. My story back in Jamaica, West Indies. It's a lot to say. I grew up in Woodland Garden with my grandparents Albert and Ethlyn Thompson. And with my five aunts and three uncles. Within the Jamaican West Indies, I have attended Flamstead Primary, Maldon Primary, and Summer Hill High School. Upon immigrating to the United States of America, Garth Thompson decided to attend a two-and-a-half-year general studies program. Since then I have worked in the business industries and now plan to attend school in the near future. Garth Thompson's plans now are more clear than ever. He wishes to work wholeheartedly and diligently too with complete sincerity and commitment. I support your communities by giving back to those in dire need. And have spent time and money doing for others throughout. Garth Thompson and his loving, caring mind. Garth Thompson formed Garth Charity Projects, Inc., to support the Maroon Town St. James Health Centre and to give back to its surrounding communities. Many years have gone, and that's when Garth Thompson decided to form a multipurpose nonprofit, GCPTALKS, Inc., which shall be "the voice of the community cries." Media coverage is GCPTALKS, Inc., GCPTV, and GCPRadio. This is where talented Artist will be booked base on their biographies, shortly followed with GCPTALKS, Inc. portfolios.

Garth and The Arts: Garth Thompson has had many years of conducting and organizing shows in Jamaica since his adolescent years. As a child growing up, he would galvanize his peers to engage in community activities, which were concerts and sports, for the purpose of fundraising. One of his biggest shows was at the church that he attended. Thus, he gave his peers a good meaning of understanding and caring for each other.
These activities helped to groom him. So it all began for Garth. Interest peaked among his peers because he allowed them to believe that their talents were a set of tools to share with others and entertain for fun and profit at the Mount Edmondson Methodist Church in Maroon Town, Saint James. Now the founder and president of Garth Charity Projects, Inc., he wishes to help young artists who are willing to use the fundraising spotlight as their exposure or gateway to the world. These people include models and singers of gospel, R&B, hip-hop, jazz, etc., and poets.
The organization's goal is to encourage people of different ethnic groups, whether sponsors, volunteers, the media, the youth, or even professionals, to perform in their style and culture. Garth Charity Projects hopes to bring fine arts to every borough of New York City and hopefully the entire USA and eventually to the Island of Jamaica in the West Indies. The organization wants persons who are willing to give something back to communities in need, helping to create hope for all mankind and creating a place where people can be happy and embrace human expression and creativity.
